NENGO 327年11月25日 6:20 AM - 36 Days Until Culmination
The party begins to stir as the sun begins to rise. Before they left Xanatos' house, the party agreed that they should use every hour of daylight possible for travel, since the days are getting shorter. Still quite a bit chilly outside, the party manages to get up, eat some breakfast, and be back on the road by shortly after 7:00 AM.

Stoner Stephen: "Damn! These next few episodes are gonna be boring as hell! All the party's doing is just walking. It's gonna take days to get to Mount Gagizet!"
Evil Ray: "Don't worry. We'll skip a few days between episodes, so as to keep the boredom to a minimum."
Stoner Stephen: "Does this mean that after this episode I can have a few days off?"
Evil Ray: "Sure. Why not?"
Stoner Stephen (a'la his old Dell commercials): "Dude! I'm gonna take a few days off!!"
Evil Ray: "Stay focused. You need to finish this episode first."
Stoner Steven: "Oh yeah! Right."

The party continued forward as they had the day before, with THRAX and Anri on opposite ends of the procession. At around mid-day, THRAX finally decides to do something, then stops. The rest of the party stops with him, and kind-of gather in a circle; with Kuta and Anri on one side and THRAX on the other side. Everyone knew what was about to happen.
Kuta: "What's on your mind, Thrax?"
THRAX: "Kuta, I don't like how 'close' you've gotten with Anri."
Kuta: "Well, hate to break it to you, but that's a side-effect of pushing someone away... they go elsewhere for companionship."
THRAX: "Bullshit! The other night you practically swept her off her feet! You're trying to take her from me!"
Kuta: "If that's how you want to see it, then who am I to argue? What do you plan to do about it, though?"
THRAX: "How about I stomp your head in the ground?"
THRAX begins to move toward Kuta.
AXEM: "Careful, Thrax! We haven't seen how powerful Kuta is yet... and I for one wouldn't want to find out first-hand."
TRITHAL: "Yeah. I hate to admit it, but Kuta's likely more powerful than I am. Hope you know what you're getting yourself into!"
THRAX seemed to not listen to his friends' warnings as he continued to walk toward Kuta.
Kuta (as he starts to walk toward THRAX): "You know, Thrax, I was hoping that we wouldn't have to do this, but if this is how you want it, well then get ready for it!"
BATTLE MODE ON: 「THRAX THE HELL-FIRE」 VS. 「Kuta of the Red Crystal」
THRAX (LV 32; 105/105 HP; 159/159 SP; 11110 EXP)
Kuta (LV 32; 101/101 HP; 112/112 SP; 9996 EXP)
The area around THRAX and Kuta becomes devoid of people as they take their fighting postures; however the rest of the party is still nearby watching.
Elric: "Twenty GP says Thrax kicks Kuta's ass. Any takers?"
TRITHAL: "You're on!"
Elric and TRITHAL shake hands.
THRAX boosts his power to where his eyes start to look like Dragon eyes, and red scales cover his body. Likewise, Kuta boosts his power to where his eyes glow dark red, and his dark red aura builds around him. Kuta motions to THRAX, inviting him to take the first move.
THRAX tries punching Kuta in his pretty-boy face, but Kuta dodges with precision. Kuta loses no HP.
Kuta roundhouse-kicks THRAX in the face, causing the loss of 2/105 HP and one of his teeth. THRAX is disoriented for a second, but shakes it off and prepares for his next move.
THRAX attempts to ram Kuta, but Kuta dodges and trips THRAX as he goes by, causing him to land face-down on the ground behind Kuta. No one loses any HP.
THRAX gets up and faces Kuta, and prepares to attack again, when overhead the party notices a dragon flying low overhead. While THRAX is distracted, Kuta punches him square in the jaw, causing THRAX to lose another 2/103 HP and fall to the ground, knocked out.
Kuta EXITS BATTLE MODE
No one gains any EXP.
Just then, a young female human jumps off of the back of the dragon flying overhead and yells "KOISHII!" as she falls to the ground. TRITHAL nonchalantly moves out to the open area and in a split-second, catches the falling person by front of her waist with his right arm, then throws her to where she twirls around in mid-air and lands on her feet facing TRITHAL, somewhat dizzy. The person appears to be the fake Nashira of Darkness from Episode 34. The Dragon lands next to the party, transforms into his Myrmadon form, then kneels down, facing the fake Nashra.
The fake Nashira shakes off the dizziness, and says to TRITHAL with a big stupid grin and a ditsy voice, "Hi, koishii!"
TRITHAL (with a 'dear God what the hell is she doing here?' expression): "Hello, Edita. Nice of you to drop in."
Adeth: "Woah! It's Lady Edita!"
Nashira: "Hello, Adetherian. I see you finally became a Paladin. Awesome!"
Adeth (blushing): "Aw, well thanks!"
The fake Nashra turns to Danika, who is standing next to TRITHAL, and says "This must be your beautiful wife Danika."
The fake Nashira walks up to Danika, and places her ear to Danika's belly. Danika immediately gets an uncomfortable expression.
Nashira: "I hear your baby's heartbeat! I'm so happy for you two, koishii!
TRITHAL: "Y-eah... Thanks, I guess. What are you doing here, Edita? And, why must you keep calling me koishii?"
Nashira: "Why? Because 'Treh-thaul Soo-taah-roo is such a grumpy-sounding name! Koishii sounds much more happier! As for why I'm here, I thought you'd want to see this."
The fake Nashira withdraws a newspaper from her kimono and gives it to TRITHAL. While TRITHAL reads it, the fake Nashra goes over to where Kuta and the now-conscious THRAX are standing.
Nashira: "I couldn't help but notice earlier that the two of you were fighting. Why?"
THRAX: "Because this fucker here is trying to steal my woman!"
Nashira: "Ooh, Kuta! Stealing women now, are you?"
Kuta: "I don't have to explain myself to you, Macha-Sumi."
Nashira: "Aww!" (to Anri) "Why do you put up with such grumpy men, my dear?"
The fake Nashira walks up to Anri and starts to feel her up.
Nashira: "You should come live with me and the rest of your sisters! We could be one big happy family ruling the Dralani-Sunder!"
Anri, first embarrassed, is now becoming somewhat aroused by the tender touches of the fake Nashira.
THRAX: "Hey! Back off! That's my chick you're feeling up!"
Anri shoots a 'fuck off!' look at THRAX, as TRITHAL now has a very concerned look on his face after reading the article on the cover of the newspaper the fake Nashira gave him.
Danika: "What's that say, Tsutaru?"
TRITHAL: "Someone blew up the rail bridge over the Muriad River outside Itsuka yesterday."
AXEM: "Holy shit! That's like the most-primary way to get from Itsuka to the Sea. That's gotta suck balls!"
TRITHAL: "Yeah. It says that the entire prefecture was in a state of panic right after it happened."
Kuta: "Well, do they know who did it?"
TRITHAL: "The article says they don't have a clue, but there is some graffiti painted on a nearby cliff. Look at the picture of it, Kuta."
Kuta looked at the picture of the graffiti, and became equally concerned.
Kuta: "That's the seal of Macha-Xianu!"
Elric: "Who?"
TRITHAL: "Vankar."
Elric: "Oh... (delayed reaction) OH!!! Shit-fucker!"
Xaklafor: "What the hell is Vankar up to? Why would he be blowing up bridges in the prefectures?"
THRAX: "Who knows? At least we've confirmed now that Vankar does have operatives in Mount Sabretooth. That explains how he got the Defense crystal."
TRITHAL: "This also means that we need to get a move on. If Midus figures out that Vankar was behind this, things could get real ugly real fast."
Nashira: "Keep reading. Things might get that ugly quicker than you think!"
TRITHAL continues reading the article, then says, "Oh fuck me!"
Danika: "I'll do that later... but what does the article say?"
TRITHAL: "Premier Jansod is sending a detachment of the Ghon-Ki army to Mount Sabretooth to help out King Midus."
AXEM: "Uh oh...."
THRAX: "That's sure to get Vankar pissed!"
Elric: "We'd better get moving now!"
TRITHAL: "Agreed." (to fake Nashira) "Thanks, Edita. I owe you one."
Nashira: "Don't mention it, my koishii! (says something in Macha language)"
TRITHAL, Danika, Kuta and THRAX reacted to what the fake Nashira said. A second later, the Myrmadon that accompanied the fake Nashira turned back into a dragon, then Nashira hopped on and flew away.
TRITHAL (under breath): "Why didn't I kill her when I had the chance?"
Danika (to TRITHAL): "Nothing... happened... between you two when you met with her the other night, did it?"
TRITHAL: "Of course not! She likes girls, remember? I am very much a guy! You, of all people, should know that. That's... just the way she acts."
Danika (rubs her belly): "Yeah, I noticed."
Kuta: "I can't believe you let her keep the name Nashira. It doesn't fit her at all!"
TRITHAL: "Yeah. I'm beginning to wonder now if I really should have."
THRAX: "Forget about her for now. We need to get moving! Mount Gagizet is still about 7 days ahead, and we ain't getting there any quicker just standing here!"
The party agrees. As the party saddles up, TRITHAL walks up to Elric with right hand extended palm-up. Elric rolls his eyes and hands TRITHAL 20 GP for winning the bet from earlier. Once everyone gets back on their horse-lizards, they resume down the trail at a quicker pace.

Stoner Stephen: "Okay, Evil Ray. I finished the episode. Can I take a few days off now?"
Evil Ray: (sighs) "Okay, I guess."
Stoner Stephen: "Yay! I'm outta here! See you later!"
(footsteps running away, door slamming)
Evil Ray: "Don't forget to come back! There's still half a volume left to narrate!"
(sound of fat ass sitting down in chair, lighter lighting, inhaling, bubbling, exhaling, coughing.)
