NENGO 327年11月22日 6:10 PM - 39 Days Until Culmination
With Winter approaching, the hours of daylight are getting shorter, so the party hurries as fast as they can to find a safe place to camp out for the night. Luckily enough for them, they manage to get to the shores of Xanthur Lake about 45 minutes before nightfall. As the party lights some torches and scouts the shore for a suitable campsite, the members with heightened ESP begin to sense movement around them. The rest of the party prepares to dismount and draw their weapons.
As the sun started to set, a group of Dralani soldiers likewise carrying torches, led by the 4 Saibot chicks, confront the party. The party dismounts and prepares for a fight. The Saibot girls draw their weapons.
THRAX: "Well hello there ladies! Long time no see!"
Alys: "Shove it, Thrax!"
Palledoris: "You are trespassing on the territory of Nashira of Darkness!"
Adeth: "w-w-w-what? Did she just say Nashira of Darkness?! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Adeth begins running around in a circle screaming hysterically.
TRITHAL: "Dude... chill out!"
Obediently, Adeth stopped in his tracks and resumed his battle position.
Kuta (to Saibots): "Do you mean the warrior queen who terrorized the lands of the south over 400 years ago? How could she still be alive?"
The Saibots look at each other, confused.
Aelle: "We don't know what you're talking about... but the Nashira we serve has conquered the lands of the Windia and the Balio tribes."
Rishna: "You are trespassing in the land of the Sunder, and you will be punished for it!"
TRITHAL: "Eau-kay.... Tell me more about this 'Nashira of Darkness' you serve. If she is so fond of this land, why doesn't she come down here and defend it herself?"
Alys: "Silence, you dick! We don't owe you any explanations!"
TRITHAL: "Seriously... I want to know more about her. If she's using such a name as Nashira of Darkness, she must be someone of great power. According to what the Dude here has told me, Nashira is a heartless, blood-thirsty monster who rides a black horse and reigns over the lands with blood and terror. If she's managed to ensnare the 4 of you into believing she's so great, I want to meet her! She sounds like a facinating individual."
In the shadows behind the Saibot chicks, TRITHAL senses someone moving. His eyes glow blue as he tries to determine who is behind them.
TRITHAL: "Is that her back there?"
As the Saibot's concentration is disrupted for a split second, TRITHAL harnesses his wind power and flash-steps past the Saibots and stands in front of the female figure trying to hide in the shadows.... who now has a scared-shitless look on her face. TRITHAL examines the figure, who stands about a foot shorter and appears about 150 pounds lighter than him.
TRITHAL: "Aw, you gotta be bullshitting me! There's no way this little cunt could be the real Nashira of Darkness!"
Aelle: "Watch your tongue, Tsutaru! That's our master you're referring to!"
TRITHAL: "Your 'master', is she?" (laughs out loud) "I heard that the real Nashira of Darkness who ruled long ago was a strong, powerful warrior queen, who's signature attacks included, but weren't limited to..."
TRITHAL charges his power and, with his Amplification crystal, used his SP to recreate a few of the signature moves that the original Nashira of Darkness was capable of.

Stoner Stephen: "Huh... I wonder if maybe Trithal was the original Nashira?"
(TWANG!!!)
Stoner Stephen: "Owww!!"
Evil Ray: "Shut up and stick with the script!"
Stoner Stephen: "Okay!"

After TRITHAL finished his demonstration, he had burned about half of his SP and knocked down about 4 trees.
TRITHAL: "That's the kind of power the true Nashira of Darkness was capable of... at least, that's kinda the idea I got from the Dude when he was telling me about how Nashira destroyed his home village more than 400 years ago. There's no way this little liar could be the same Nashira of Darkness."
After witnessing TRITHAL's demonstration, the rest of the party starts to wonder how he knows so much about this Nashira of Darkness person, even though he claimed not to remember her back in Episode 17. Kuta, however, seemed to know what was going on, and was shaking his head at TRITHAL.
Kuta (to himself): "Bad move, Mugen!"
TRITHAL (to Adeth): "Hey Dude, come over here for a second."
Adeth, with a look of general disbelief on his face, ran over to where TRITHAL and the woman claiming to be Nashira are standing.
TRITHAL: "Dude, is this woman the same Nashira of Darkness that destroyed your village?"
Adeth takes a good look at the person and says, "Wait a minute. That's not Nashira! This is Lady Edita... wife of Lord Doman!"
fake Nashira: "Adetherian? Is that you?"
TRITHAL (to Saibots): "See? Even the Dude here can tell this isn't the real Nashira of Darkness! And you're telling me that you honestly believe this person to be who she claims she is? My God! You chicks are gullible!"
The Saibot chicks now seem confused after witnessing what just happened.
TRITHAL: "Maybe I should do the world a favor and rid it of this back-stabbing, manipulative, lying little twat stain!"
As TRITHAL began to charge his powers, the impostor fell to the prostrate position and cried out, "Please! Have mercy on me, my koishii!"
This seemed to anger TRITHAL more, as his power seemed to grow even more.
Kuta: "Mugen, wait! Don't kill her yet! She may have some answers for us!"
TRITHAL seemed to not hear what Kuta said, and continued to charge his attack.
Danika began to boost her energy to where her eyes glowed green, stepped forward toward TRITHAL and said in a stern voice, "TRITHAL YIRAN-TSUTARU! YOU WILL STAND DOWN NOW!"
TRITHAL looked up to see his wife approaching him, throughly pissed and ready to attack. Knowing how painful she can be when she's super-pissed, TRITHAL backs down and steps aside.
AXEM: "Woah... she used his full name!"
Danika turned back to the Saibots and the party, with eyes still glowing, and said "THE REST OF YOU, SHEATHE YOUR WEAPONS!"
Obediently, the party members, the Saibots, and the Dralani solders on both sides put their weapons away. Everyone moved closer to the scene with their torches, since the sun has now almost completely set. Danika walks up to the impostor, who sits up and faces Danika.
Danika (to impostor): "Now, missy, start talking! Tell me who the hell you are and what all this is about!"
The impostor is too scared to speak, so Kuta chimes in to explain everything.
Kuta: "This person's truest name is Macha-Sumi. During the latter part of the Doschat era she went by the identity of Lady Edita, wife of Lord Doman, who was a member of the noble class that ruled parts of the land of Atheria, an area which is now a part of Morgura and Gurunath Prefectures. I think it was in the 93rd Year of Doschat when it was discovered that Lady Edita was keeping an 'unhealthy' relationship with a female bandit named Nashira of Darkness. Upon learning this, her husband ordered the immediate capture and execution of Nashira, and made Edita watch. Needless to say, Nashira didn't go down without a fight. All of Doman's soldiers who participated in the execution were killed before Nashira finally died herself. Afterward, Edita receded into a heavy depression... which is understandable given what she went through. It was said that she died in her home a little more than 2 years later. Not long after that was the beginning of the Nengo Revolution. No one was certain what became of Macha-Sumi... suggesting she either let her Macha Symbiont die with her, or she jumped to one of her servants and disappeared. I'm willing to bet that the latter is what happened."
AXEM: "That's an awesome story, Kuta... but how is Trithal connected to all of this?"
Kuta: "Isn't it obvious? Nashira of Darkness was actually Macha-Rei."
The party and the Saibot chicks were all stunned and surprised to hear this revelation... except for Adeth who appeared to have gotten lost at some point during the explanation.
Adeth: "Uh, hang on.... I don't understand. What does this mean?"
THRAX: "It means that your 'sensai' used to be the real Nashira of Darkness"
Adeth (experiencing delayed reaction): "..... eauWHAAAAAA?????"
By this time, Danika had calmed down, and TRITHAL had taken a couple of hits from his favorite pipe and was now more mellow. Likewise, the impostor has now regained her composure to where she is once again coherent.
Kuta: "However, it does baffle me that Macha-Sumi would assume the name Nashira after what happened 400 years ago." (to impostor) "Tell me, what is your purpose? From your appearance now, one would assume that you couldn't be pulling all of this on your own, and that you must be acting on behalf of someone else. Are you working for Vankar?"
impostor: "That crazy fuck? Hell no! I work for Macha-Chet."
TRITHAL and Kuta (in unison): "Macha-Chet?!"
Kuta: "What the hell is Macha-Chet trying to accomplish by having you do this? For that matter, why are you working for him in the first place?"
impostor: "After I escaped Atheria, I headed North to Banidori, where Macha-Chet took me in. He taught me how to use the power of diplomacy and mental manipulation to gain power and status. He gave me this crystal here, and had me come down here and pick a territory and conquer it. I chose this area, because of the beautiful forests and rivers."
Kuta: "Sooo... then... how is your doing all of that of any benefit to Macha-Chet?"
impostor: "How the hell should I know? No one in this plain of existence can understand what Macha-Chet is thinking! All I know is that I now have a place where I belong, and a purpose in this world. That's good enough for me." (to TRITHAL): "How about you, my koishii? If you pledge your allegiance to Macha-Chet, we can work together! You and I can conquer all of the Badlands as life-partners!"
Danika was about to speak up and go ape-shit on the impostor for that inappropriate proposition, but TRITHAL stepped in and confronted the phony.
TRITHAL (semi-stoned): "Both you and Macha-Chet can go fuck yourselves! I'm plenty powerful by myself! I owe no allegiance to anyone... and I have no intention of swearing allegiance to you, or Macha-Chet, or anyone else in the Land of Fantasy for that matter! I have plenty of power by myself! I don't need help from anyone else! If you know what's best for you, you and your band of ignorants will stay out of my way. You can keep your 'territory' and 'status' for yourself."
impostor: "Very well then. If you leave me and my troops alone, we'll leave you alone." (to Saibots and her soldiers): "Let's go, everyone! Leave these losers to their own business."
With that, the Saibot chicks and the Dralani soldiers that came with them left the scene. By this time, it's completely dark out.
